I posted earlier this week that I got a pos bloodwork for lyme after being bit on 5/23 and having horrible symptoms for the past few weeks. PCP put me on 100 mg doxycycline 2x day for 21 days.

I want another opinion and was VERY fortunate to get an appt with someone that is experienced in Lyme. She's an NP that has lots of experience. I told them I was just diagnosed and they said they wanted to see me as soon as they could.

My appt is next week. They told me they will be doing more testing. What else should I be asking? I will bring a picture of my rash (thanks for the suggestion) and a hx of my symptoms with me.

THANKS for all your help!

Ask about whether you have co-infections - babesiosis, bartonella, etc. - generally diagnosed through a combination of testing and clinical judgment.
