Yup. Had mild sensations at the beginning of getting sick. Oddly enough it had gotten worst when I switched over to a set of ABX and now comes and goes less frequently that I am back on the ABX that made them go away at one point (Doxy and Biaxin).

You can try B12 shots and also sublingual (under the tongue) vitamin B12.

The B vitamins help to restore the nerves, so if it is a neuropathy caused by lyme, hopefully this will help.

If it is just the soles of the feet burning, that could be a bart symptom. But, if the entire feet burn, I have known people with that symptom and their regular doctors prescribed B12 injections and it helped or totally resolved.

Hope you can find some relief. A friend of mine was getting waked up at 2 a.m. every night with the burning feet (the entire feet) and the B12 did the trick for her.

Page 28 of Burrascano:

"5. VITAMIN B (required).
Clinical studies demonstrated the need for supplemental vitamin B in infections with Borrelia, to help clear neurological symptoms. Take one 50 mg B-complex capsule daily. If neuropathy is severe, an additional 50 mg of B-6 can be added. Generics are OK."

The symptom is listed on page 10 of Burrascano:

"Tingling, numbness, burning
or stabbing sensations,
shooting pains, skin
hypersensitivity"

When I had lyme, I felt like I had patches of sunburned skin that moved all over my body. It was crazy! I only got it at night when I went to bed. I called it my personal LSD trip without the LSD.

Thanks for all your replies. Everything you guys have described is what I have. The soles burn more but it's like my entire foot was dipped in hot oil and it is worse at night. omg @manybites and others-how awwwful but yes I also have burning elsewhere on my body which gets worse out of the blue.

I appreciate all your suggestions and will run then by mydoctor and see what they have to say. At least I'm not alone.. and @TF-I could do without that 'trip' as well.. [Smile]

Good fats are also important. Mylin sheath (covering that protects nerves) is composed partly of fatty acids.

Test for toxic heavy metals. Usually lead and mercury, arsenic, and some other nasties. Gravity = they usually shift to the lower body compartments, i.e. lower face, hang up in brainstem (back of neck), reproductive areas/males prostate, ankles and feet. Often ovarian cysts are holding metals (research done).

Direct resonance testing as done with ART can easily locate metals.

It takes serious metal detox and binding agents to remove them and get them out of the system.

Tingling, buzzing, burning, numbness = usually caused by toxic metals. If you wake up vibrating or feeling a mini earthquake, suspect toxic metals. EMF exposure
and high frequency radiation is a real problem because the metals resonate with electromagnetic frequencies.

We have to remember, where there are parasites, bugs/infections, usually there are toxic metals.

They can be detoxed, but it takes time and patience. I have had so much metal in my mouth collected over many years, starting with mother's mercury, and I am still detoxing metals without a bug or any infection in sight. The higher the EMF, the worse the sympstoms until the toxic metal load is successfully lowered.

Any time we treat anything, infections or toxicities, the symptoms show up. Neuropathy is a symptom of neurotoxins and toxic metals are neurotoxins first class. Shifting of metals and neurotoxins can be quite common unless we cover ourselves well with effective binding agents to catch them and move them out of the body avoiding recirculating and reabsorption in other body areas.

I have been posting about this very common problem for many years here. Once the brain and major organs, kidney, liver/gallbladder, etc.
are being stressed, it is important to take action before things get worse.

Take care.
