Had my first bicillin shot 2.5 days ago and, starting last night, I can barely move. I've delt with costochondritis many times in the past, but this takes the cake.

I understand the bicillin herx can be a bad one. Anyone tell me what I can take to get the inflammation down? I can't take advil/ibuprofen and I've been using ice.

On top of that, the air hunger is coming and going horribly. I'm having a hard time, no position is comfortable. [Frown]

Since it's been over 24 hours, try switching to heat instead of ice.

You do not say why you can't take NSAIDS, or what happens when you do. Can you take other NSAIDS, such as aspirin, naproxen, or meloxicam?

Also, have you tried any detox measures? Maybe a warm epsom salt bath might bring some relief...
