does anyone have personal experience (good or bad) with this company? their prices for iv rocephin (generic) are second to none. they are located in florida, but ship medicine and supplies throughout the country. i have been unable to find anything about them on the internet other than their own website (which seems unprofessional). thank you!

I have not used them personally but my LLMD recommended them in case my insurance fails to reimburse for treatment.
They were about $1300 dollars less than my home infusion company. Fortunately, the local infusion company met the price so I do not have to mess with infuserve.

Infuserve was great for me. Very prompt and courteous. Sent me the wrong gloves once but overnighted the nitril ones at no charge.
I always talked to a real person on the phone and always put me at ease.
It was the best price.

Looks like they are working on their website. They are an excellent pharmacy. Please don't judge them by the looks of their webpage.
The pharmacists are very knowledgable and caring. They will always talk with you if you call and need help.
They care about quality and safety of the products that they send out. I think that this alone sets them apart from every other pharmacy that I've ever interacted with.
The staff are also great. They even have a nurse than can answer questions.
I really couldn't imagine a better pharmacy service. I've had some pretty nightmarish pharmacy experiences before I was referred to Infuserve.
Infuserve has made it possible for me to receive the treatments that I need.

Hubby uses Infuserve each and every week. they are wonderful. the prices are great. And if you ever have questions about anything, the Pharmacist will stay on the phone with you and just help you in any way he can. Everything is overnighted and if a refrigerated drug, comes in a box with ice packs and styrofoam. They call every week to say they are shipping out the order. I can't speak highly enough about them.

I pu together a spreadsheet of all the pharmacies and coverage in and out of network (it's a few years old now) but if you send me your e-mail I can e-mail it to you.
I have used infuserve america and thought they were good-my llmd also recommends them, however insurance may cut you off and they are not the most affordable choice.

I have had great experience with Infuserve Amearica. We switched to them from Home Care Solutions when insurance stopped paying for IV meds. Their price for month supply of Rocephin can't be beat. Very professional and helpful.

I have had great service from Infuserve. They try to save you money by bringing the cost of medications down when ever they can.
My insurance is paying for my IV meds, 3 months so far.

Infuserve is great; I've used them lots. Don't judge them by their website! Which I don't think is that bad. You'd be using them for the actual work that you need them to do, not for their website.
One thing that so few know is that, once your insurance stops covering IV meds, you can often get it covered by ordering the meds (as rx'd, of course) and paying out-of-pocket.
Then, Infuserve will bill your insurance company, if you ask them to. Then your insurance company often pays. They won't tell you that they will pay, but they do most often. You may have to get after them to reprocess your claim, so it is processed correctly.

I too used Infuserve America when our insurance refused to pay for the IV's. I was at a stage that I was still bedridden and pretty ill and out of it, so I wasn't the one with the contact with the company, but my husband was always talking about his long conversations with the owner of the company and how helpful they were.
At the time I was on iv, they definitley had the best rates around. It's a company I would highly recommend.

Very inexpensive. It was like $600 - 700 per month WITH supplies. Which is how he got it. And I guess if you mix your own, much cheaper. If you call them, they certainly will discuss it with you.

Tracy, I don't have the current prices, but lyme-o is right in that it is cheaper if you can mix your own. But sometimes with brain fog, that isn't what we want to be doing. It's a tough balancing act.
I do know that if you call them and tell them what you are up against, they will talk to you about all the options they can offer and they are compassionate and really want to help.

To figure out what it will cost without supplies..
Central line kits-chloraprep,gauze,alcohol pads, tegaderm bandage -$6 each
Heparin syringes- $.64 each saline $.60 each
If you have a port, invacare Huber needles are $4.25 each.
There are places where the needles and central line kits are cheaper. All Time Medical had some good prices on some of this stuff.
Syringes are cheapest at Infuserve.
To just order the Rocephin, you would need to speak to the pharmacist for a quote.

Infuserve mixes the medicine for free. So it is not always cheaper to mix you own medicines.
For a very brief time my my ins covered the powder vials and nothing else. I shipped the vials to infuserve, they mixed them and put them in the eclipses (home pump balls) for me.
Saved me money because I didn't have to buy individual supplies to mix and put them in the eclipses! All I had to buy were the eclipses and the Large saline bags used to fill the eclipses.
If you mix your own you need needles, syringes, small vials of sterile water, and prefilled eclipses or NS bags+IV tubing for each dose. See cost adding up quickly?
They also mix in a sterile pharmacy hood so that you know everything is done right. No risk of accidental contamination. We are already sick, don't need any extra burden added.
That being said, I have been on some meds that required me to mix them at home because they were not stable long enough to be stored. You just have to be ultra careful with sterile technique when doing this. Your brain must be working 100% at that time!

Infuserve is THE BEST. Very profesional and their pharmacists are UBER knoweldgeable. They saved me a lots of money, but their advices also saved me from calling my doctor during few very horrid herxes ( they provided me with great advices). God bless Infuserve team.

As sammy said, the rocephin is cheapest in the syringes. Infuserve has syringe pumps that they will lend you free of charge, which is amazing! It makes using the syringes totally easy and cheap. I use the pump for my IV glutathione and magnesium as well.

also IM rocephin vials from your local pharmacy are covered as regular Rx, so if you have a low co-pay you can get 30 day supply real cheap.

My local home infusion company matched Infuserves prices, and saved me $50 a week in overnight shipping charges. They are also cheaper on supplies... I have alot of posts on this subject... just search by member name......

IV rocephin with infuserve is $25 day with ALL supplies included with the acuflow elastomeric pump units. Rocephin can be frozen if you need to go beyond the 28 days. That has changed since you got that drug from them. It is still premixed in saline. I believe it is even cheaper if you go to a saline bag.
Infuserve ships once a month for that drug.
Local companies have tried to match Infuserve and some did, but where I live those companies insist on shipping weekly and you have to speak to a case manager weekly. That is a pain in the you know what to go through all that and it is the same price in the end.
Much easier to have the drugs shipped once a month.

i also tried to negotiate and get local companies to match infuserve's prices, but no one could. ultimately, i did decide to go with them, and thank to all of you, i feel confident with my decision. looking forward to going back on rocephin!
