When do LLMDs prescribe them? Immediately? After other abx? I feel like I should push for flagyl but we are treating for babesia at the moment and I'm not sure if you do both at once. I re-read the guidelines and I can't get any clarity on the question. Tx.

It depends on the LLMD. I had one specialist who didn't hit all three forms of lyme at once. My new LLMD (well known) however does. He said that in his office, they try to hit as much as they possibly can.
Have you seen Burrascano's (16th protocol) guidelines? It's the first topic under Medical Questions here on Lymenet. I can't really remember, but I think he mentions hitting all three forms too.

Some docs wait, some dont. I did not start cyst buster until 6 months into treatment. I am treating all 3 forms of lyme and bart at the moment.
