After years of using oral abx on and off, I seem to no longer tolerate any. Within 4-6 days on any, extreme nausea and vomiting are induced. I am doing well on IV rocephin.
I am also taking tons of probiotics and supplements for my gut and have been very strict with avoiding food triggers including dairy and glutin.
My tract seems fine until orals are added and then everything goes to pieces. Feedback and any tips are really appreciated.
Thanks!

Um..absolutely. I have horrible nausea from Lyme induced gastroparesis to begin with, but when I take oral abx watch out! I get multiple bouts of vomiting throughout the course of a day, as well as lower intestinal distress. It is really rough.
I hope you feel better soon. Jess.

I used to take Zofran but I can't now due to heart issues. I have to say ginger anything helps, especially ginger tea. I also find that Benadryl can really ease nausea, but it makes me SOOO dizzy and loopy and I already have terrible vertigo, so I try to use it sparingly.
