http://www.michigan.gov/documents/mdch/Foster_CD_Conference_2012_384678_7.pdf

Starts out with national park info, but also includes state-wide data

Yeah that the data is inaccurate and biased. These maps are so inaccurate it's offensive!

Good to see some recognition, but from the amount of people I know who have been infected in southeastern Michigan, total of 8. Family members and friends of friends, it's not even listed in the maps.

Poppy by no way take offense to my anger, I'm not putting it towards you but the liars in Michigan. Thank you for posting this.

See the problem is, doctors and outdoorsmen who see this are going to think there is no threat. Going to be a lot of Michiganders in pain in the future. Friend of a friend over here in Michigan got bit on Harsens Island, lost his vision, but did gain it back and is better now because of treatment. That was a decade ago, maybe longer because the guy is a lot older now.

At least there was a graph how statistics are taken of people who have Lyme disease. [lol] Shows a reason why nothing is recorded!

I agree with you. Very seldom do any official reports tell the truth about the real incidence of lyme disease.

I got it also Southeastern MI. Seek's got it also Michigan. It is getting more recognized here albeit very slowly!

There are some more here on LN also who live in Mich and have LD.

It doesn't surprise me about Harsens Island having LD. Probably where I got it. Hope your friend is better.

That graph pretty much tells us there is no room to argue. Typical.

I got home today and found a dead tick just outside my door. Sometimes I really hate being kicked when I'm down.
