How do you feel now? How does your doctor know the parasites are gone ? Does he test for their presence with muscle testing or scientifically ?

Have you improved a great deal?

Good news. I thought my parasite issues were over a year ago but they came back. You may want to continue it (or some form of anti-parsite protocol) indefinitely. Just my experience. I think Gael would agree, too.

If they have been with you a long time - they aren't going to leave that easily.

Sparkle is right! According to Hulda Clark, maintenance antiparasitics should be done FOREVER.

The reason being is that if any eggs or larva are left over, the cycle will start all over again. You can google Hulda Clark parasite schedule.

Juniper,My bottle doesn't say mg but does say 6 caps equal 1 tsp. I took 2 2Xa day muscle tested.

I know parasites come back or we can pick them up from foods and other places.

Thanks Gael and Sparkle [Smile]

I am still on Byron White herbals for Babs,Bart,AV,anti, inflam and an enviremental one.Good thing BW lowered his prices. Not sure how much yet. I love his products.

I space on taking a couple of doses of A-Bart and it reared its head big time. Now back down but not gone.

The drugs can serve a purpose but it's a good thing we have these herbs. When I realized this is a long term fight - I stopped taking the drugs. You can back off the herbs without too much of a problem or take them indefinitely.

I ordered a bunch of ivermectin horse paste but I'm just holding it in reserve. I'm taking Raintree A-P. I think it's stronger than the drugs. I ordered some of the herb form of mimosa. I may dowse it to see if I should take it.

It didn't seem to do much when I made a tea & drank it for a bit. Maybe I didn't take it long enough or there's a difference in quality between the powder & the straight herb...? or it could be me?

There are really alot of options between Amazon herbs, Auryvedic & Chinese herbs. These cultures battled parasites long before there were Western drugs. There's alot of great stuff on the Raintree website. I'm feeling kind of partial to the Amazon herbs now for some reason.

I'm very pleased for you, Healing in Santa Cruz.

I am having even worse stomach issues than usual (endoscopy next week) and am considering trying mimosa pudica.

Do people taking mimosa use it as a standalone treatment for parasites or are some people combining it with drugs or other anti-parasitic herbs?

UK...I'm also taking artemisinin and rizol oil, but will probably need to take prescription anti-parasitic drugs in the future. And also, starting the SSKI (iodine) in nebulizer.

Healing - this is great news!

The one thing I have not been consistent with is nebulizing the potassium iodide for lungworm. I have to get better with this. How often did you do this? And what dose?

Thanks! Be well.

UK...yes i am seeing improvement. Just in the last few days i started to breathe normally, which is amazing because i had air hunger for a long time. But my liver is very damaged so i really struggle with detox and have terrible die off.

I feel miserable all the time, but when i stop for a day i realize that i am getting better. I had a few good days which is very hopeful.

Glad to hear it, Kristen.

Sometimes it is hard to see improvements, you are right, especially for those of us that don't handle die-off well. Hope you see more and more benefits!

Kristen - Try coffee enemas. I have been doing them every day. This has been amazing for me. Have not had any trouble with detox. It's such a great way to stimulate your liver into making fresh new bile. Give it a try. You must use organic coffee. I also get the disposable bags that make it so easy. And they're cheap. I get them on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002NWS2BM/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00)

Thanks Tammy, like you i do them religiously...i think the biggest problem is when i start dumping metals, no binder is strong enough to take care of it. And A.R.T. told me to stay away from chlorella for now.

Just a thought... maybe the chlorella is a "no" because it may be contaminated from Fukishima? Have you tried a few brands? I think the King chlorella is fairly pure or probably the brand Dr. K sells.

Does anyone know why Dr. K says that mimosa is more powerful than the drugs? I tried it for a bit. I took it in tea form. I didn't really notice much of a difference. I may have a different health issue than others...? Or maybe the one I used was not the same quality as the one that most are using?

Where did you get the nebulized iodine?

Can you just use a pot on the stove with salt in it and a towel?

Good call Sparkle! i will try it.

Catgirl, i got the SSKI (potassium iodide)from Dr. AD in Seattle area, but you may also get it from Tahoma Clinic (Dr. Wright)

And I got prescription for nebulizer from my MD, because i have asthma, insurance covered it.

Catgirl - I bought a nebulizer from a local surgical supply store. You just add a small amount of water (like 1/2 tsp) and one drop of potassium iodide. This is what my doc recommended.

Healing - how much potassium iodide were you using? Just curious.

or you can get reinfected. I know my husband was reinfecting me. he only did parasite cleanse 3 or 4 times in a few years. When they found paraseit ova in a biopsy on his leg lesions (from chemo) he was surprised he still had them.

That was proof to people who think I'm a nutter about parasites that we do have them!

Sorry to hear mojo but it is good to get a confirmation. When I saw the stuff that was coming out of me - I knew the doctors had no clue about all of this.

I think the eggs are everywhere. I don't know if we could ever be in an environment that is free of them. Then, there are mosquitoes, flies, fleas, ticks, etc. These things carry parasites & we can be reinfected - if not from food or pets...

So - once this is a problem, we probably have to take these herbs or drugs, salt/C for life. I believe that alot of other health problems may be attributed to parasites, too. Not necessarily just the Lyme & related stuff.
