my stomach pain is so bad i can't eat. the pain starts within 10-15 minutes lasts for a couple of hours and then starts at about 1-2 in the morning and then becomes double over down in the floor crying excruciating.
i took 1/4 of a vicodin yesterday but it was a mistake. it made me so sick it was worse than the pain. i threw the bottle away. i am very susceptible to any pain killers anyway.
i have a prescription for nexium, tons of amoxi and doxy, and nystatin.
right now i'm not on anything including good.
this is no way to diet...
how did you heal your stomach??

Maybe the antibiotics are huritng your stomach. Are you on them? Try juicing every thing you eat or at least blend it up. Stay away from spicy, chunky and rough foods, give up all sugar and bread products. Meat is hard on the digestive system. How about dairy products. Do you eat them? If so, give them a rest and see if you get better. A good drink is juiced carrots, cucumber and if you can tolerate it, put in 1/2 juice of a lemon. I feel for you. I went through something in my earlier days with Lyme. I figured out anything acidic was my enemy. Blended cooked green beans and carrots would be a good place to start. You could add some cooked chicken or turkey for protien. check for ulcers. I also had those and they hurt!!!!!

Randi, I have had ulcers and this sounds so much like an ulcer to me. When is the last time you had an upper endoscopy? You need one desperately, IMO. This is not OK. You need to figure out why this is happening, and an upper endoscopy or upper GI series is yr best bet.

My husband used a supplement called GI-Revive. Helped heal up his gut.
He couldn't tolerate any tomato-y foods - said it felt like pouring acid on a raw stomach. There probably were other foods he avoided also, but I forget what they were.

Randi,
I thought I read on one of your posts that you stopped antiparasitic herbs?? Parasites, can cause severe pain and discomfort, and the same holds true when you try and kill them.
Not a good idea to stop going after parasites, especially in your case when you started seeing "things" in the toilet and have a history of parasitic infection.

i did almost 3 weeks of humaworm but the lower abdominal pain got so severe i had to quit. i have a history of diverticulitis and i recognized the signs right away. lower left abdominal pain, diahhrea, nausea, etc. all the signs.
this has started a couple of weeks after i stopped the humaworm.
plus i called and they said it had psyllium so i called the dr's office and they said i should never ever take psyllium because it's like sand on a wound with diverticulitis and my history of bowel problems. they don't believe in any cleansers at all i could tell. so i stopped it.
however, this is my stomach, up between where the ribs curve.
i've had tons of tests, so many i can't count. all they said was "chronic and severe ibs" and gave me hycosamine and sent me home. which caused major problems cause i was told "aiyh" (all in your head)..and that doesn't help.
but lately no problems at home, knock on wood...he's leaving for two weeks in colorado to go fishing, so i'll be alone.
am eating very light today. i mean just a teaspoon of oatmeal. lost a bout 5 pounds already.
i've had these attacked periodically since i got my gallbladder out and they can never, ever find out what's wrong. and yep, mentioned it to llmd, was told "not my area, find a good gastro"...
sigh...

How do you heal your stomach? The answer to that question depends on the cause of your stomach problems. Stomach pain that occurs shortly after eating is often a symptom of gastric ulcers, which sounds like a likely culprit in your case, but there could be other causes at work.
Considering the extent of your pain and discomfort, I think you should seek a consultation with a gastroenterologist. He/she can order an upper GI series to determine exactly what is causing your stomach pain, and determine how to treat it effectively. Just guessing on what treatments to try may do more harm than good.
Another thing to consider: Do you still have your gallbladder? I'm wondering if that could be another possible cause of your pain.

Stomach pain right after eating can also be gastroparesis. I have it and the endoscopy plus colonoscopy were clear. I have low stomach acid so I take digestive enzymes plus betain hcl.
Food moves extremely slow from my gut in spite of all the probiotics I take. Lyme and abx are doing a number on my gut.

You poor thing! Maybe it's an ulcer? Try some coconut milk or aloe vera juice (helps heal from inside out). And if you can handle honey (no yeast issues), it helps.
