I am looking for the fleet of trucks that hit me.

Not one of the "diagnosis" is in hiding.

When will this settle down? My fingers hurt, my knees, my head....well I don't have enough room to let all my areas of pain. Pain meds don't help.

I need some ideas. I didn't have this much pain when giving birth.

Thanks.

Magnesium maybe? Sometimes nothing helps my FM pain. It's debilitating.

Hope your pain lightens soon.

So sorry that you're in such pain. I don't have any magical answers, either. Maybe something I've tried will be of help to you, I hope so.

My fibro pain often receeds, just below conscious level, where I don't realize it's there. Just this week I had some dental work done, and it created a miserable fibro flare which lasted several days.

What helped me the most was very hot epsom salts baths. I made the water as hot as I could stand it, mixing in epsom salts (and some nice sesame oil just for moisturizing my skin). This gave me noticeable relief. I had to do it daily, I probably could have done it twice a day.

For my painful neck and face, and also for my hands, I used a hot pack from the drug store that pops into the microwave . It's not gel, but it has some kind of clay inside. It gets very hot (have to be careful not to get burned), and penetrated deeply, providing some relief.

I thought that gentle yoga stretching would help, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I did a little reaching, but very minimally. It did help with neck and shoulder tightness.

How have you treated the pelvic pain in the past? Have you ever gone to a physical therapist who uses very gentle techniques to release and reduce the pain? There are PTs who are specially trained to work with pelvic pain issues. I have gone to two. I was so sensitive to the treatment, that I had to go to the PT who used the most gentle techniques. Perhaps this could help you.

Pain is really tough to go through. Wishing you well, and soon.

Try to eat as alkaline as you can. That's what helped my pelvic pain the very most.

No soda, sugar, sugar substitutes only low acid coffee. Take Trace Minerals, etc.

Thanks, it is still raging thru my body. Fevers, aches, pains, fatigue. Just want to sleep.

I have the same problem. For over 30 years... It's up and down. Heres a couple of things that helped me: Diet - No sugar, lots of whole foods, but make sure that you are not sensitive to anything. Just found a book today that will make plain food taste better. "Recipes for Repair a Lyme Disease Cookbook"by Gail and laura Piazza,Exercise: easy water aerobics,or Curves (there was a curves exercise place in my area for a long time -it was great! I felt better, looked better, and it didn't hurt. Even my Mom who had stage 4 congestive heart failure and bad arthritis did well & all without pain!)

Continued reply.. You could also try a Tempurpedic(pardon spelling)matress. It was worth the money - the pain of laying on a matress often kept me up at night or woke me up. Another thing that helps with the pain is a hand held device called "stim plus ".This device uses battery power it makes a noise that changes when a "pain point" is located then you can push a button to administer a small electrical shock. I only use it on my back and need the help of my husband. This causes the body to release natural pain killers to the sight. Doing this right before bed time makes a world of difference. The human body is truly an amazing creation! Now I can sleep again and good sleep helps the body to heal.
