I'm supposed to start this too as soon as I get it in, and my doctor said to take it with food but didn't say anything about not taking it with other meds. I think he said it wouldn't interact with anything else I was on.

- No, artemisinin cannot be taken with probiotics.
Generally, keep separate by 2-3 hours:
Rx
Nutritional Supplements & Herbal Supplements
Probiotics
-------------- Do not take Bee Pollen, multi-vitamins, B-complex, or Niacin on an empty stomach. These are best in the middle of a substantial meal.
B-5, B-6, P5P, B-12 are all okay without food, though.
Do not lie down after taking certain antibiotics or the esophagus could become raw and bleeding.
Also, certain other Rx need the person to remain upright for 30 minutes to an hour after taking.
Also be sure to chase abx with a good glass of water.
Do not eat DIARY around certain antibiotics as it will block the absorption due to the calcium. Same with calcium, magnesium and other mineral supplements. Keep distance from Rx. -
