Does anyone follow a diet while fighting this Lyme disease?

My husband had food allergy testing done and avoids the foods he's allergic to.
He also avoids artificial sugars, colors, etc.
Low sugar
He eats Real Food! Tries to eat proteins, complex carbs & good fats at each meal.

No gluten - I seem to have an intolerance that was set off by Lyme. My celiac biopsies were "inconclusive," so the GI doc recommended that I act as if they were positive.
I follow the no yeast, no sugar. Actually, I have started to moderate to very little yeast, very little sugar. I don't like very much sugar anymore.
