Hi Everyone-
I have been doing well for the last 6 months or so. I am off all antibiotics after doing many orals,Rocephin,Bicillin,Flagyl and treating for both co-infections,etc.

I also treated with a kinesealogist for the last 6 months of my "recovery"

I am able to function normally on most days-physically and mentally. But I find that if I push too much physically then i will have a day or two where my legs feel like lead and I am extremely fatigued.

Compared to how I have felt the past 4 years this is still wonderful and I am not complaining because I know how awful this disease can make you feel.

There were many months where I just didn't want to live anymore because I was in so much pain and my brain was so foggy..

I just wanted to ask if anyone else experiences this. I walked every day this week and swam. I am not talking about running marathons! Today I napped for 3 hours and had so little energy that I couldnt get out of the house.

I wonder if this is lingering Lyme or coinfections symptoms and if I will always have to pace myself or it is just my body getting used to moving again!

I would appreciate any input and would love to hear from anyone who has had a similiar experience.

Thank you!

That's awesome! When you have full recovery, go to
General Support and post your story in the Success Stories thread!

[woohoo]

PS.. what was the thread about that you just posted??

It sounds like your immune system is trying to keep things in check for you which is great. Be careful when winter comes as that is when a lot of people relapse. Take vitamin D3 and maybe some herbs. I hope you have this licked for good.

I found that lots of detox using various means helped me overcome the last of the disease symptoms. Hulda Clark liver cleanses helped TONS. I did four of them two weeks apart as directed on their website.

I also found Dr. Natura Cleanse to be effective. Both it and the Hulda Clark gave me energy back.

That being said, when I came home from Germany after photon treatment, the lead suit feeling was gone and I was waking up in the morning. I'm not talking about that lead suit feeling, rather lingering fatigue.

I take Vitamin D3 as nefferdun says. I also take Lugol's Iodine. I think exercise is critical, too. I think the pilates I do helped me get 100%. Certainly not the only thing, but definitely helped get me there.
