I have seen this subject now and then but honestly have not pain any attention, until now. Seemed a little out there for me.

I have been on a new protocol and recently started having head/stomach issues...almost like motion sickness. Nausea, but nausea which seems mildly improved with food, certainly no worse.

Anyway, on Sunday I am home alone and feeling loopy and nauseous. I decide on some sofa time to watch the Olympics wind down.

I haven't done my teeth bleaching in AGES so I put the top tray in for two hours.

Hmmm, my issues have resolved. I don't think it is a coincidence. What exactly does the hydrogen peroxide do?

Now, on the other hand, after being on Levaquin for over a month with no problems, during this teeth bleaching all of a sudden I feel my achilles start to burn a little. The burning subsides but now am very aware I have achilles tendons and have d/c'd the Levaquin.

I don't think the achilles is related to the hydrogen peroxide. I have been off Levaquin for 3 days. No burning but an "awareness" of my achilles...sometimes a little tight, sometimes a little achy, sometimes normal. I will not risk continuing Levaquin.

Not sure about the hydrogen peroxide, but levaquin messed up my heel too.

Had to go to the ortho, wore the boot for months.

Magnesium chelate amino acid from Whole Foods helped me more than anything else.

Hope yours is just a passing thing.

Don't know about the peroxide. Some drs use it in IV's. Dangerous in my opinion.

Be sure not to exercise for several months, because the achilles could rupture.

You seem to have tolerated it but a note of caution for anyone new to this.

Even a diluted hydrogen peroxide quick mouth wash / swish resulted in a horrible burning for the very tender tissue in my mouth. Couldn't get it out fast enough - and rinsing with water did not relieve the burn.

It made my teeth far more sensitive and it took weeks for the mucous membrane healing.

Many of the teeth whitening kits can be especially harsh for those with health issues.

The formula I used was 23%. Yes, sometimes it immediately causes irritation and sometimes it does not. It is always a crapshoot. This time it did not.

I just thought it interesting that the ingestion of hydrogen peroxide relieved my loopy head/nausea symptoms rather quickly, and I had these symptoms for about a week with little relief. I see mention of hp on the boards but I don't really understand its use.
