I wrote this to Kudzuslipper on another thread. Now I want to invite everyone.

Kudzu - I accept your invitation to tea! We'll wear funny hats and stick a dormouse in the teapot. No one will make an ounce of sense. Everyone will be welcome, thank you very much.

Half the guests will fall asleep at the table. The other half will get lost on the way. We'll try to explain ourselves, but we're not ourselves, you see?

We'll play a polite game of croquet in the garden. Everyone will win because no one can see straight anyway. Then off with our heads, because we would all feel so much better without them!

Mods - Please don't exile me to General. It's so lonely there.

Tutu - tut tut yourself. Maybe we all need to be exiled. To Tahiti!

I KNEW that garden line would never fly here. We are a cautious and vigilant bunch.

I've got it! We'll release a flock of guinea hens! Aren't those the ones that eat ticks? Of course, we'll all mistake them for our croquet balls...

Dormouse? My memory was confirmed with a Google cross search of"Alice in Wonderland"

No Mad Hatter's Tea Party can go on without one.

Well, we already have the mercury issue so we don't need to worry about trying on the Mad Hatter's hats.

I'm the one on the other side of the fence in the blue shirt trying to figure out how to get over it.

Hopefully the lawn is astroturf.

And the docs on the med boards
Get up and tell you where to go

And you've just had coriolus mushrooms
'Cause you're way past status quo

Go ask LymeNet,
I think they'll know...

When brain fog and exhaustion
Make you feel like you are dead

And your doctors talk in circles
Telling you, "It's all in your head!"

Remember what ILADS said

Take your meds!
Take your meds!

Very good, Lymenet tea party band members! Adding back in a 2nd verse -

Go ask AuntieLynn
'Cause tales are ten feet tall.

And if you still want the Rabbit
To show up before it's fall,
Tell 'em, hey lookah, joking Lyme tea party
Has given us song recall
And thank AuntieLynn
for remembering what we sang
When we were all small(er).

................................................

Now here's some noni tea for all, followed by some nongluten crumpets...

Cute, RC1 -

Lymetoo, when you ask your husband what he might like to play for the tea party, you can sing:

Tutu for tea
and tea for Tutu,
Includes you, hubby,
you can play play here too...
