I'm pulsing artemisinin 10 days/month along with daily Mepron. On day 4 I begin getting horrendous facial pain and headaches.
By day 5 I'm barely moving due to the head & face pain and nausea. I drink lots of lemon water and do the Alka Seltzer Gold during these times. Any other EASY ideas?
Does pulsing 3 days on 4 days off per week work any better?

I do 4 days on 3 days off. But how long have you been on 'Mepron. The awful headaches sound like a side effect of Mepron.
Art made me feel really tippy. I know docs pulse it in all sorts of ways but that is what my doctor recommends.

LFick, I pulse like you and with Mepron, too. I come crashing down , 2 days after I finish. Headaches, neck pain and woozy, dizzy, off balance...it's awful. I just start to feel a bit better when it's time to start again! I see my LLMD next Monday. PM me about your doc since I see you live in MD, too.

Art is tricky. I was on it with mepron, zyth and amox and I became resistant to the art. But my ex lyme doc never suggested pulsing it. I failed that babs treatment (on malarone now).
It is hard to know what is going on here. It is possible that you feel so bad because it's actually killing it (die off). Krk feels better before it's time to start up again. That could be because during the break it's not being attacked, so it's not dying.
I know for me, when I'm fighting parasites, I get headaches as soon as I start taking an antiparasitic. I just figure it's killing it, and relasing toxins.
You could always try changing your days. I think some docs may guess on this one. I know mine listens to what works for his patients (told me), and then recommends it to the rest. Maybe this is why your doc has you on the pulse regimen you're on.
My LLNP always tells me that I can always try doing whatever works for me (different days, but with a diff med).
