So, in the past 1-2 weeks I've noticed that my eye floaters are worse than usual. I have some mild pain at the back of my head / base of my skull. And, my knees hurt for the first time ever in 2 years of treatment (I never had knee problems.)

I'm wondering what happened to cause this. Looking back at the past months I have a few theories:

I started the Hulda Clark Parasite Cleanse on August 1. Big flare when starting. There was some small evidence of visitors exiting, but nothing major. I did the herbs daily for 2 weeks and now do them once a week per the protocol.

It was around this time that these symptoms flared...so my thought is that:

a) I do have parasites and the die off released some borrelia or other TBI which is causing the flare. Floaters can be due to lyme as can knee pain. I was on Zithromax when all this started. Zith is great for co-infections, but isn't the best lyme drug. Biaxin is much better. Just switched to Biaxin 3 days ago and my knees feel a lot better. So this could be lyme.

b) I do not have parasites, but the herbs hit some other bug. Either Babesia (which I know I have) or something intracellular like Mycoplasma or Bart. I know that Mycoplasma can cause all of the symptoms I have left (floaters, twitching, gallbladder discomfort, etc). Babesia can also cause some of them.

Either way...the parasite herbs flushed something out of the woodwork. I'm taking it as a good sign, even if it is annoying (like floaters are.)

Starting Clindamycin tomorrow. Buckle your seat belts.

I know we're all different when it comes to what works for us. Oral clindamycin worked for me for five years!

For knee pain, I take turmeric powder and teasel root tincture drops, and wave a 66nm red light shaker around the knees - it's supposed to increase mitochondrial energy - definitely takes down joint pain!

And drinking mangosteen juice clears up all Lyme eye symptoms for me.

Don't know how old you are, but increased floaters can be very common after a certain age, because the vitreous gel starts pulling away from the retina, a process that creates both floaters and flashes.

Plaquenil can also cause problems with flashes. I don't know if you are experiencing both floaters and flashes, since you only mention floaters.

The brain adapts to floaters and they disappear because the brain no longer see them- at least, that is what I was told. In my experience, this takes about 3 weeks.

I get sudden increases in both symptoms, and some of my floaters cover most of my vision with large, horse-shoe shaped, hairy looking floaters. I don't worry about them. They go away. I have never linked them to Lyme despite my other problems.

Every person is different, and I just hope my experience is helpful to someone.

Have you seen an opthamologist to have your eyes dilated? Increased floaters can mean a detached retina, so they do like to check it out when it happens.

Up...just wanting to hear other's experiences.

My floaters were very mild. Now they are more moderate. All int he past month after doing a parasite cleanse.

Other new symptoms popped up too, like sore knees for the first time (lyme knee.)

Seems like the parasite cleans got the bugs out.

It sounds like you have parasites to me. Just because you didn't see very many come out, doesn't mean you don't have microscopic ones in your body. Gael tells people all the time that it takes more than 30 days to get rid of them.

I know with our cats, we have to de worm them at least twice a year. Even horses get de wormed on a regular basis. I think that people believe that just because we live in a first world country that these things simply do not exist, especially at the levels they do.

Personally, I believe parasites take a lot of work to get under control, especially with lyme and company (just my opinion). Lyme brings everything we've been exposed to in our lifetimes to the surface.

I know lyme loves to go into the eyes, so why not parasites? I just know that whenever I work on parasites, my eye floaters diminish. And when I don't, the floaters come back.
