I've been through about 6 months of doxy therapy and started about 3 months ago on pulse therapy with ceftin, azithro, flagyl. Now this pulse round my Dr. has switched me to 2 wks straight of just Levofloxacin 500mg 1/2 tab daily then after 2 wks changed to 1 whole tablet along with regular pulse therapy of ceftin and azithro.
I don't understand I guess why my CD57 numbers are dropping instead of stablizing or improving. I know I'm chronic and it will take a while. Any thoughts?

Well, the CD-57 is just a tool. It can vary and some with high counts feel awful and some with low counts feel OK.
So.....?

baboosh44, many Lyme doctors do not run the CD-57 test. According to Dr. Burrascano's guidelines (page 8),
"There generally is some degree of fluctuation of this count over time, and the number does not progressively increase as treatment proceeds. Instead, it remains low until the LB infection is controlled, and then it will jump."
I would not worry about this result.
