I am new here to this forum and haven't been diagnosed with Lyme but think I may have it. I live in the heart of Lyme country(2 towns away) and have been having symptoms on and off since the spring, including-

shortness of breath
heart palpitations
joint and muscle pain(not bad-it doesn't last long)
tingling/numbness in hands/arms
lightheadedness
blurry vision
higher than normal body temp
feeling fevery/clammy/sweaty
fatigue
hair loss

These are the results of my Western Blot from Igenex-
IgM band 23-25 IND 41 + 83-93 IND
IgG band 31 IND 39 IND 41+

Any input/advise would be very much appreciated.
Also, my anemia has gotten worse even tho I have been taking an iron supplement.

Thanks for your help !

Most LLMD's would TREAT if the patient had those test results.

You need to be checked for babesiosis as well. It can cause the "shortness of breath, heart palpitations, lightheadedness, higher than normal body temp, feeling fevery/clammy/sweaty, fatigue."

editing to add: ANEMIA is definitely associated with babesia!!!

Be sure to see an LLMD soon. I believe I gave you a list of names??

Thanks for your response. I did get tested for babesia, but not from Igenex. It was done through Clinical Lab Partners. Would that be considered reliable or should that be done also thru a better lab? Thanks again !

Its amazing there is a controversy to this insidious disease and Ive found it easiest to show a couple of u tube videos on the controversy.

If you watch this video you can see some of the miss diagnosis.

This is our Lyme doctor. It took us 8+ months, 9 MDs, 2 Childrens Hospitals before we started to learn about the controversy and find him.

He is a saint and I show this to help illustrate how MDs have been prosecuted so normal MDs shy away from doing anything but following the flawed IDSA guidelines.

Also here is a post by another LLMD where he mentions a patient taking supplements and herbs (which many LLMDs dont address but many have found to be helpful).

I don't know. I've never heard of that one. You need a lab that specializes in Lyme testing.
