Is essential oil of oregano the right form to take? Is it best to take one drop in olive oil?

I read it can be strong... I dont tolerate most meds so i have to be careful.

I like Oreganol brand because you can take it right in your mouth. I've purchased other oregano oil, and if you're not careful it can burn.

I use Designs for Health Oil of Oregano. They are gel caps.

I've used Biotics Research A.D.P.

The oregano oil in it is emulsified so it is delivered more evenly throughout the digestive tract.

It has worked well for me in the past - I think it's the best.

If the mucosal tissue in your mouth burns or is tender to spices or acid, I would go with the GEL CAP for the full body therapeutic dose and then just one drop of a tincture formula in a cup of water for a mouth rinse.

If your mouth is impervious to anything that might burn others, and you want to go with a tincture formula -- even with a prepared formula of drops from a good source -- still dilute it even more into 1/2 to one cup of water.

Do not put even drops from a prepared formula straight into your mouth until you have tested out with more water. If that has any burn to it, you know not to go stronger.

After a while, you'll get a feeling for what is best for your mouth tissue.
