My vision has really gotten bad. It has been since I've been on this med. Of course it could be a coincidence.

Anyone else having vision problems on Ivermectin. There are not any doctors that know about this med around here.

This is from drugs.com

Ocular side effects have included eyelid edema, anterior uveitis, blurred vision, conjunctivitis, limbitis, punctate opacity, keratitis, abnormal sensation in the eyes, and chorioretinitis/choroiditis; however, these effects are also associated with the disease onchocerciasis. Loss of vision has occurred rarely but usually resolved without corticosteroid treatment. Conjunctival hemorrhage has been reported during postmarketing experience in patients treated for onchocerciasis.

It seems to make my eyes very dry. I remember reading it can affect the cornea. I also get headaches from it. I have cut way back on using it.

I got shakiness and blurriness of the eyes always the morning after taking it. I have tried it off and on a few times and I know for sure Ivermectin is definitely the cause!!!!

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=117794;p=0

Maybe keep the dose really short, like 1-2 days on and then 1-2 days off. I will try it again at that interval.

The eyes are often affected with any med that kills, because you are releasing toxins during that process. Taking binders makes this less troublesome and you have to take them frequently throughout the day and at bedtime. That is why I like Diatomaceous Earth - it binds to literally all biotoxins, whatever they are. You may want to read up on it.

Parasites are the "knights in shining armor" -- they are holding toxic metals until eradicated. But living with parasites is not the answer because they deplete us.

You can choose green clay or whatever or Sonne's. I am not on a parasite med, but am detoxing heavy metals, and if it weren't for the binders, I would redistribute the toxins and suffer. I don't at all, but I take D.E. throughout the day, mixed into almost anything, even my pancake batter.

I also take Green Coffee Bean Extract and that works wonders in clearing the liver and the toxins contained in the fat. I posted about it a few weeks ago and testing my stool and urine with ART, it is definitely taking the toxins out.

It is important to do some light exercising to help the things move through the areas that are often stuck, i.e. the occiput/neck area, arms, shoulder areas, legs, feet, arms.

All that helps to eliminate the toxin fallout from the die-off.

Ivermectin is effective and we have to deal with the fallout with binders.

Take care.

Thanks guys.

Gigi. I have made a note of those binders. I never heard of the Diatomacous Earth but I do have Sonne's stuff here. I'm trying to polish off what I have before I start buying new stuff.

I need to be better about binders.

Yes it definitely can affect vision . I take it every other day and have no side effects with vision . It is slower to clear the liver than some drugs . Taking it every other day seems a better idea to me .

Yup! I had this while on ivermectin. I also lost complete vision in one eye at one point and thought I was having a stroke. It came back after about 15 minutes, and then I was fine....strange squigglies and blurriness were the worst for me. Once you stop it goes away.

Is this a side effect of the med, or Die-off?

I'm convinced this is a side effect of the med.

I had bouts of blurry vision in the mornings right after I started the med, and general blurriness during the day while I'm on it. It seems to clear up when I stop the med. (I am pulsing it)

It is a listed side effect. My LLMD was concerned about it and said if it got bad he would probably take me off of it.

I would not take it every day . My vision issues went away when I started taking it every other day . Take a few days off , let it clear the liver totally , then start taking it every other day .

I had another med do this to me years ago .

I am thinking of taking this once a week. My vision has definitely gotten worse, again, I can't say it is because of the med. I assume that it is as it really affects my eyes in general, dryness etc.

I am starting to wonder about the long term effects of this med as I don't think many doctors know about it.

My doc (he wasn't the one that prescribed it) says that we really don't know what it does to the metabolic pathways.
