I took Mepron for the first time last night (already taking Omnicef and Azithromycin).

I barely slept last night due to belly pain and general discomfort/insomnia.

This morning, I felt sooooo sick - flu-like, joint pain, pressure headache, belly discomfort. I also felt dehydrated and ran a low grade fever (100.6). My husband had to work from home, so he could do drop-off and pick-up from school.

Is this a typical herx? Taking 3 liquid Advil has helped me feel much better.

How long should I expect to herx? I'm glad advil helps, but I don't want to kill my system with NSAIDS.

About an hour or two after taking Mepron for the first time, I got sweats and chills. That went on for a while.

Mepron hit me really hard as well. I had the aches, overall flu-like feeling, and bad dizziness and brain fog. And I hadn't had any symptoms like that previously.

Really bad for a week or two. I had to ease off for 3 days and then slowly ramp up again. From then on I was OK.
