Federal health officials are warning consumers not to eat Trader Joe's Valencia Creamy Salted Peanut Butter after the product was linked to salmonella infections that have sickened 29 people in 18 states. . . .

They should have listed WHICH 18 states but did not. Even Trader Joe�s does not list the states but it may be distributed in more than 18 states but no reports in the others.

My Valencia PB from Trader Joe's, bought here in L.A.,has the number 00971119 beside the bar code.
Anyway I have eaten half of the jar...no problem.

Good grief! Thank you, Keebler. We get this sometimes. Thank goodness the peanut butter that we have from them now is the organic and not the one mentioned.
