My daughter is doing a Pulse A and Pulse B She is now on Pulse B for 10 days. This Pulse B consists of Tinidazole, Clarithroycin and Plaquenil.
After her first dose of Tinidazole she developed a very bad sore throat. Several days later she describes symptoms of brain fog WHICH SHE NEVER HAD EVER BEFORE. SHE SUFFERS WITH JOINT PAIN BUT HAS NEVER HAD BRAIN FOG.
This is freaking her out. Has anyone experienced new symptoms of brain fog on tinidazole. Does it clear up when you get off the drug
Thanks for your input

I'm no expert, but it sounds kinda like a Herx reaction to me. (Which is a good thing, actually.)
Doesn't babesia cause sore throats? Folks?

My daughter is taking tinidazole with mino along with Byron White herbs. She does complain of a sore throat and also describes pain in her esophagus. To be honest, I usually can't determine what is causing what. I don't feel her brain fog is worse with this drug though.

I get a very bad sore throat shortly after starting most new antibiotics. For me I think it's yeast as I have struggled with a ton of oral thrush until just recently.
I would say it's probably a herx. Tinidazole is known to be one of the tougher ones. I took it for a week but did not have much of a noticeable reaction.

Tini can trigger permanent neuro symptoms. so please take the brain fog serious, talk to your doc and consider stopping it. I wish I had done that.

I have never heard of this. What if you had brain fog prior to tindimax? How would one know?
