I wouldn't do it while pregnant.

No one knows if this is safe or not. I look at it this way, if something would go wrong during the pregnancy, which can happen with any pregnancy, you would always suspect the treatment as the cause. I know I would always have that suspicion in the back of my mind.

Personally, I would not want to experiment on a developing fetus. It is a complex process to begin with, and why take a chance on disturbing it in any manner.

Just my opinion, as a conservative Grand Father.

Congratulations to your friend on the pregnancy.

Dan

You'd need some very trustworthy safety studies before trying something like that. I haven't heard of any safety studies.

(I'm not an expert, just vague impression, unresearched.)

Thank you for your advice. I'm sure she will decide to skip it while she's carrying her baby.

Don't know about rifing during pregnancy, but I agree with Dan not to do it (too many unknowns!).

Your friend needs to get the protocol for pregnant women with Lyme which the best Lyme pediatrician, Dr. J., has put together. It can be followed with her own doctor.

I sent you a PM with contact information.

I trust rife for myself with all my being. I would not take a chance period with a pregnancy.

I would go on the pregnancy abx protocol without a doubt.
