Lemon is acidic but converts to alkaline in the body. You want your body to be slightly alkaline for optimum health.

I'm on the fence about this. You've got to consider the blood vs. the saliva vs. the urine vs. vaginal area. An alkaline condition in the vaginal area is indicative of infection. Blood's pH is between 7.35 and 7.45 so it's a very narrow range.
Years ago, I fed my baby breast milk only (which was alkaline) and took the pH of her urine and it was acidic -and the milk was the only thing going into her body at the time, so I believe urine is supposed to be acidic. Her saliva, on the other hand was alkaline.
