ok so I never thought I would be this sick into treatment. I've been being patient just trying to get through this, but last night, I didn't sleep at all because of the pain.

For months now, my whole body is sore and stiff, it feels like I'm hooked up to an electric fence and someone is frying me from the insides, anyone know what specific infection this might be. My whole body is burning even my throat on top of all the pain and stiffness.

On top of this, I didn't get any other sicknesses until about two months ago, now I keep getting sinus infections and stomach viruses. How is my body supposed to fight off the lyme when it's fighting all these other infections, and how might I be getting these when I am not even leaving my house?

At what point can you not take the pain anymore. I want to check myself into an er and tell them to put me in a coma cause I can't take it anymore, that would be better than the other option I have in mind.

I finally slept after taking two percocets, but I don't like taking these and I DON;T take them often, but I do whatever I can to survive right now.

What else works for the pain for anyone? I've tried neurontin, lyrica, tramadol, vicodin,.

Acupuncture, chiropractic, baths, foot detox, lido patches flector patches, heating pads ... These things do help but I still have to take norco twice a day but still just isn't enough sometimes.

I hope you find something that works for you. Detoxing helps a lot. How about a clay bath? That really helps.

ive had your coma fantasy myself

many llmds dont believe in treaating so aggressively you are in severe pain. they have you back off meds and build up gradually. then by the time you get to full dose you have killed a bunch off already and it isnt so hard on your body

have you talked to your llmd about this? do they insist you stay on high doses?

Lyme? Its complicated. Educate yourself.

I'm sorry. Chronic pain is very difficult. Is it from taking the medications/abx? I think lpkayak is right - if that's the case.

Going through extreme detox reactions is counter-productive.

Maybe you could find some kind of pain management clinic? The drugs are helpful. I also find that meditation CDs are good, too - like Dr. Jeffrey Thompson or Hemi-sync. You can find them on-line.
