Since getting Lyme and co. I have not been able to tolerate caffeine, so rarely I will get a decaf coffee. However, lately I noticed decaf coffee has been causing strange symptoms... Shakiness, sweating, blurred vision. Any ideas as to why this is? Is this messing with my blood sugar? Or possibly aggravating yeast? -------------------- Diagnosed Pos. Lyme Nov. 17, 2010, Igx. Pos. I think from what I have read, any coffee is not good for people with lyme.

I've also heard that but from what I've read it's because the caffeine can interrupt sleep and we need adequate sleep. -------------------- Diagnosed Pos. Lyme Nov. 17, 2010, Igx. Pos. Babesia Duncani March 2011, Igx. Clinical diagnosis for Bartonella

The same thing happens to me. I think it is because it is dehydrating.

Interesting that it happens to you also WPinVa. What's also strange is the symptoms it exacerbates are my remaining symptoms after almost 2 yrs of antibiotics. -------------------- Diagnosed Pos. Lyme Nov. 17, 2010, Igx. Pos. Babesia Duncani March 2011, Igx. Clinical diagnosis for Bartonella
