So I just realized now , I was never tested for bartonella. I had just about all I could take w/my current doctor. I am so sick and nothing is getting resolved, I feel like I'm getting no where.

I do have symptoms of bart, maybe I don't have it , but I just don't know why I was never tested?

If I do have it also, would any of these meds help it at all, augmentin, minocycline, flagyl, amandine, iv rocephin.

thnks

Testing not very good, so might be better to go by symptoms anyway. But there are some labs that do a better job, if you want to be tested.

Don't think those are the meds for bart.

Although preliminary tests don't indicate I have it, my LLMD said he would put me on rifampin towards the end of my treatment to cover it just in case. There's so many strains he said and testing just covers a few.

Yeah testing is really inaccurate. I think mino helps. Some have posted that flagyl might too.

Going by symptoms is what I have been told is best.
