I've been treating bartonella for a long time and I'm sure it's pretty much my main, and last, issue. I've used all the popular items and herbs and drugs and I can keep it at bay, but never really knock it out.
Is there anything NEW that self-treaters or LLMDs are doing? Any NEW drugs or herbs? I've done the byron white, the beyond balance bar-1, the sida acuta, the sulfa drugs, no quinolones (I wish I could take them), the hh, etc.
I'm looking for the big gun to knock Bart out for good but I can't find it.
Love to hear about something NEW :-)

Bart is the bane of my existence. I just went off Rifampin for the third time in two years, and here I am two months later having to go back on as I backslide yet again. I am fine as long as I stay on Rifampin, but every time I go off I have to go back on. I will say I am able to stay off a little longer each time, but it seems like I am going to be on it forever!

Tracy -- Rifampin doesn't mess up your body / liver? That stuff is strong stuff!

At my last visit to the LLMD, I was told to go to Woodland Essense and buy cryptolepsis. I did, but haven't started it yet.
I was very successful with A-bart. Not sure why I didn't keep doing it.

Hi. I heard that crypto works on Bart too. Might try it.

Are you supposed to take the cryptolepsis with anything else?
I have a long-standing rx of doxycycline. Is that a good combo?

I'm on doxy and biaxin for lyme, the crypto was added for remaining bart symptoms. Supposedly it helps with babs too but I don't know for sure.
