Hi there,
I was just wondering if it was possible to have just bartonella, without lyme. I got tested for everything through Igenex, and only came back positive for Bartonella. ( I know this doesn't exclude me from lyme) All of my symptoms are Bartonella like, such as calf muscle twitching, brain fog, etc. I also have Bart stretch marks and other rashes, such as bumps in skin, etc.
My LLMD wanted to treat for Lyme first, and we have been treating for about 8 months, with no real results.
Is it possible I could just have bartonella?
Thanks a lot

I do believe it is possible.

One of my LLND's had bartonella without lyme.

She is fine now after treatment.

I'm not sure what she treated with. I never asked her. She told me she believes she got it from flea bites.

She is totally fine now and works full time.

I am happy to pass on her name if you want to pm me.

My son tested positive for babesia, and has bart streaks. He is negative for lyme, and has a high CD57. So, fingers are crossed, hopefully, he doesn't have lyme.
