I get this too..it is like a cold shiver...It is very specific to my stomach and abdomen with me. If it is touched or caressed or scratched I get the shivers and chills like feeling down my legs. I have babs as well, IDK if that is the cause but it is so bizarre. Jess.

Very bizarre.
I just remembered I had anemia and thought it was ok now, so stopped taking my iron supplement (Blood Builder by Metagenics) about 2 weeks ago. So, wonder if this could be related since babs can cause anemia.

Could this be some kind of neuropathy? Mine are like vibrating chills.
I am beginning to wonder if this could be from Levaquin that I took a few months ago or Tindamax that I am still taking.

From my experience, the chill sensation which can be on arms, back, legs, anywhere, has nothing to do with abx. It was caused by metals in my system when EMF exposure became stronger, and I became a walking antenna. We are beings of frequencies. Listen to the video I posted a few days ago.
The longer and more effective the metal detox is, the more this sensation will lessen. Many people misinterpret these symptoms as Lyme and or Co-infections. But the condition/burdened immune system increases the susceptibility to parasites of all kinds even more. No win, unless the terrain is cleaned up.

Gigi....makes perfect sense.
I started heavy metal detox several months ago...just recently switched to the brand at detoxmetals.com. I have been having these sensations for a couple months now.
I am determined to clean up the terrain....thanks!

"Crazy" is a dangerous word that usually undermines the subject of that word.
First, I know that vocal tone being missing here can create various interpretations of any word or phrase. You may mean "crazy fun" or "crazy puzzling" - it's hard to know but I also have to wonder if you don't mean "crazy - can't be real"?
Still, call me sensitive, call me a veteran of multiple medical abuse but it pains me every time I see someone think a symptom (or they, him or herself, are "crazy").
I am on a personal mission to set that immediate reaction free. But, why - oh, why - would anyone think any symptom is "crazy" - unless beaten up by doctors for describing REAL symptoms in the past.

Others have some good replies.
Truly, when the nervous system is affected, as with lyme, it is just more sensitive, all the way around. The nerves that travel throughout our body "talk" to each other.
What first comes to my mind, though: Referred sensation.
There are nerves all over your body that are in certain "meridians" and when you rub one place, another may experience a sensation.
"Referred" pain or sensation can also be a term for this, sort of.
For instance, if you have a very painful joint, an acupuncturist won't "needle" that place but a meridian point that corresponds to it.
This could be one - or part of the explanation.
That chills are triggered can also mean other things, as others have suggested.
Also to consider that, if the entire nervous system is "tweaked" and on "overdrive" or "flash alert" all kinds of neuro signaling is going on along the nerve highways.
Beyond "acupuncture meridians" or "nerve pathways" it could also be that certain sensory parts of the brain are being stimulated and that will be felt at corresponding points.
Inflammation can also be part of this. If nerves are inflamed (which is nearly always the case with lyme), their electrical signals will likely "spill over" so to speak.
It's the drop of water theory, perhaps. One drop of water in a pond causes ripples throughout. -
