Good Morning Friends,

I haven't been on lymenet in quite a while. I've actually been feeling good; off abx for 18 months and just treating lingering symptoms with herbs.

About 3 weeks ago I started having blurred vision followed by a bad headache that lasted 6 hours. I tried to dismiss it, but then yesterday, I had another one.

My peripheral vision went blurry as well as my regular vision. Then another headache. I've not had a headache like this before, and although my blurred vision only lasted about an hour my head still hurts today.

Any thoughts? Lyme or a coinfection coming back in full swing? Something serious? Have any of you ever experienced this? I'm going to schedule an appt with my internist.

Hello,

Sorry to hear about your headaches. I used to get something similar.

The first symptom was blurred vision. For example, if I held my hand out in front of me (and slightly to the side) and looked straight ahead...

I could not see the center of my hand. It would be blurred out.

Soon after the vision blurring...I would get an awful headache that would last hours.

Someone once told me it could be a migraine or other type of headache (occular migraine?).

This was before I had Lyme.

It's good that you are going to see your internist, as this may or may not be Lyme related.

It's great that you have been able to stay off antibiotics for as long as you have.

When your Lyme was active, did you get these headaches?

All the best!

I get this with migraines, which are very much a part of a neuro flare up for me.
