Hi everyone..I have been getting these terrible vice-like headaches lately..it feels like someone is squeezing my head and I also get some numbness and tingling of the scalp when they hit, in addition to vertigo. I had an MRI three weeks ago, no lesions, perfectly normal.
My question is, are these atypical migraines? If so, any suggestions as to how to treat them? I have approximately 10,000 symptoms from lyme and coinfections, but these headaches have been taking a particular toll on me lately. Thanks in advance. Jess.

Thats a good point, Lymetoo...there is a bit of a nexus between the recent dip even further in weight and these headaches...Thanks. Jess.

I understand...so how long on your new nutrition program before you felt relief with the headaches? Jess.

I'm taking FeverFew (herbal) and Topiramate (50 mg) at bedtime to keep the headaches away and then an Imitrex when I get one. That is in addition to the Cowden Protocol that I'm on.
After more than a year with a SEVERE headache and stiff neck every single day, I just had a 7 day period without a headache!!!!!
I don't know if this would work for you, but you might ask your doctor.

I'm eating more organic foods, more green foods, ingesting spirulina daily, eating quinoa, drinking bone broth, drinking homemade kombucha, etc.
It only took about a month, jessica!!
I try not to eat "empty" foods.

It might be toxins? Have you tried any detox methods? Chlorella, clay, charcoal, psylium, etc.?
Also, butterbur is supposed to be good for migraine headaches, too.

Jess, do you think you got bit again? Every time I had vertigo, I was bit prior to it. My last tick bite gave me awful head pressure, head tingling and crawling feelings, weird strange stabbing headaches and my neck felt like it was literally in a vise.
