Hi this is my first message on LymeNet. I just a week ago started Bacillin LA 3x week (IM injections) + Minocycline. Wondering what other folks have experienced with these meds. Some background: It's the first time I'm doing antibiotics, though my Lyme has been around a long time, though pretty quietly. Episodes of faintness on standing up led my doc to start in with these antibiotics. I feel really spaced out, and energy levels are up and down (as always), but I have other issues, such as food allergies, and I've been sort of "eating outside the lines" if you will, after 4 months of being very good about them.

Oh, I was misspelling...it's Bicillin. That's why my search on Lymenet wasn't coming up with anything and that was freaking me out. I'll do some searching.

I did bicillin injections for several months. I made some good progress on them. At the time I was on zithromax and mepron with them.
I decided I needed abreak from injections when my doctor wanted to switch me to rifampin so I am now doing doxy with rifampin and have stopped the bicillin. I found mino hard on my stomach.

There are a few youtube videos that are pretty good. Ideally your LLMD should go over the procedure with you.
