How can I do the GAPs diet if I am allergic to the yeast that are in the cultured foods?

I have been instructed to not take saccromycsis boulardii and avoid fermented foods and mushrooms.

I know the diet heals allergies but what about being directly allergic to the cultured foods?

Are you allergic to all mushrooms? I heard that we can have maitake and reishi mushrooms.

Why no s. boulardii ??

I am making kombucha and seem to be successfully handling it. I tried the fermented veggies and my stomach said NO!!!

I think one of the big things with GAPS is the bone broth. I think that helps me.

Kombucha makes me really sick? The mushroom thing was told to me as a generalization because they are a fungus/ mold.

The broth is very healing and I like that. The s boulardi is yeast and I am sensitive/ allergic to yeast.

I guess the broth is suppose to seal the gut so it wouldnt let things leak out of the get to cause the allergic reaction. I feel weird when I eat fermented things kombucha but it doesn't bother my stomach I get lightheaded and dizzy. I was told that is allergic reaction.

So confusing.
