My port needs TPA again and Infuserve only uses Cathflow which is $150 a dose. Does anyone know of a less expensive place to get it?

PM sent last night.
You may be able to get an RX for "port maintenance" (cover basic monthly maintenance supplies) through a local home infusion co and get your cathflo RX covered by your ins company as needed.
If the infusion co had financial assistance you may not have a copay at all. That would be far cheaper then paying out of pocket for Cathflo (TPA).
Don't know what ins you have but I would think that even Medicare if you have a part D plan also should cover Cathflo. It helps to have another type of Ins plan (like Anthem, UHC...) to get the supplies. D only wants to cover drugs.
Good luck to you my friend
