So I am reading an awful lot about mold on this site. Not sure how I should proceed. Took Richie Shoemakers VCS Test and passed. Wondering if I should still look into demolding my house. How do I find someone whose good?
Have not been tested for HLA - DR gene. Is this possible to get this test at Mayo? Are there any mold tests I can take at Mayo? Not that I really like Mayo, they of course, have been completely useless, just wondering if I can get some tests covered by my pathetic insurance.

Hi there,
Do you think you have tick-borne disease/s as well as possible mold issues?
Are you under the care of a LLMD? What are your symptoms/problems?
You can hold the Mayo, BTW.

The HLA testing is tissue typing for organ transplants so mayo would have that testing available. The question is will they do it.
My insurance company has paid for HLA DR testing, MSH, c4a and leptin testing. I have not had the other tests.

Beaches - Heck yeah I have a tickborne illness - been on abx for 4 1/2 years. Have been seeing an llmd since the get go. Not getting better, so digging and searching
TerryK - Thank you for that shoemaker mold test site. Very helpful. I think the real question is will the insurance cover it. The seem to have all sorts of B.S. about why not to cover something.

You can get the HLA testing at LabCorp. I imagine that means most ins.co. would cover it without much thought, but for those experiencing regular difficulties with things like that, I guess who knows.
