I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy this morning with general anesthesia.

It seems that everything is normal but biopsies were obtained.

Polyp in the sigmoid colon (biopsy).
Colonoscopy otherwise normal.

But when i woke up I have horrible pain in my upper stomach area.
I know that gas cramp are normal the day of the procedure but this pain is really bad.

Did you have a similar experience? If so, what did you do to relieve the pain? Thank you for your help!

Did you have these two procedures because you were having pain? You speak of pain after but not before the test.

When I had these tests, a warm bath helped and laying on your side in bed with a heating pad on my belly. Let it all out whenever you can no matter who is around. The sooner the air is out, the better you will feel.

Just sharing my experience, I am not a doctor.

Thank you faithful! I will lay in bed with a heating pad on my belly.

I did an endoscopy because I am having pain in my chest, upper stomach and i have very dry throat and problems to swallow.

And she suggested to have also a colonoscopy but i didn't have any pain in lower abdomen.

So the pain is in the same area i had it before but worse.

Thank you for your advice!

UGH!!! They probably further irritated your stomach.

Sounds like you could have Sjogren's.

Probably I have Sjogren's, Lymetoo.

But I guess it is not very easy to diagnose this illness since many of its symptoms are similar to those caused by other diseases.

But I will talk to my doctor next time about it.
