All - I take Methyl B-12 injections. The nurse at my LLMD's office said to inject in the fat at my abdomen. I also do them in my butt. I don't have a lot of fat as I am 116 lbs., but I try to pinch the skin and inject sideways so it goes in shallow. Should I be injecting into the muscle (deeper?)? I see people talking about B12 IM injections. Doesn't that mean intramuscular? I thought we were supposed to inject this into fat?

They can be sub Q. We use an insulin syringe but we put the needle all the way in. It never reaches the muscle as the needle isn't that long. We inject around our belly button.

You can do it where ever you feel you have enough fat to pinch. I know that is hard at your weight but if the butt works, it is fine.

Could be why 1 more thing doesn't seem to work....

I've felt extrememly lousy lately but changing over, so Hope something kicks in.

We use insulin needles and inject in my upper arms. I'm very skinny, so a longer needle goes in too far (hits things that hurt severely). I always notice a difference from the shots...and can tell when I need my next one...
