have you seen a good manual physical therapist? Look for one that is certified orthopedic manual therapist, may be sciatic nerve or some issues they can address.

Couple things - my chiropractor has often fixed a twist in my low back/pelvis.
2nd, I've done a lot of stretching out of muscles in the pool - that's how I rehabbed a frozen pelvis two years before I found out I had Lyme.

Well, this sounds like a perianal/anal abscess to me.
I have a friend who got this. It eventually caused the pain to even go down the leg to the point that she could not walk. She had to go to the ER it got so bad. They found nothing and sent her home!
It took a trip to the gastro the next day to get proper care. He sent her to the hospital with the diagnosis and they cut open the abscess and drained it.
It came back, so they put the drain in for a longer time next time.
Once an abscess like this forms, it can fill up over and over again. But, with a good gastro, hopefully you will get rid of it.
The abscess IS in the muscle area, so what you are feeling is right.
Don't know what happened in that botched colonoscopy, but it sounds like this has been brewing for some time.

I have had this before I treated for parasites. Sorry if I keep repeating myself, but since you treated and saw parasites, you are most probably still infected. They can cause abcesses left untreated.
Once infected with parasites, especially if the infection has been longstanding, tx has to be ongoing until symptom free and then maintenance.
It can take several yrs to get rid of a hyperinfection given that some of these parasites are laying 200,000 eggs a day. Doubt if even a G.I. doc will diagnose this.
Dr. K. treats patients with aggressive antiparasitics for a year or longer. Really important not to ignore this.

As you will read, it is important to get this treated before the abscess bursts. They will have to pinpoint the exact location so that they can clean it out and put in the drain.
The above link lists some of the ways of doing that.

Important to get colonics or at least do warm water enemas to get the dead and dying parasites and toxins out of the lower colon. Salt/c is a good way to flush out your colon.
VERY important to keep things moving in the colon. Could explain why things are swelling up if the infections have no way to release. You might want to consider a vitamin c flush as well.
