Feeling awful since starting biaxin.the first ten days I assumed it was a herx.

felt sooo bad I took a three day break from all abx and felt a tad better, not great.

On my fourth day of half dose and I'm really sick, dizzy feel like passing out, weak. can't drive, scared to shower ect.

My question is at what point do you decide if you just can't take a particular drug? I didn't feel like I'm gonna die on mepron, zith and omnicef however I did reach a plateau.

Please help I really need advice I feel soo alone

I'm about to start Biaxin tonight :/... 1000mg at night at morning. im switching from Zithromax. Can't wait... I've read that other have taken it and felt absolutely awful the first 2-3 weeks then it got better. They are both macrolides however the Biaxin is much stronger.

Stop until you hear from your LLMD. You may need to re-start slowly and build up. I didn't tolerate some meds in the beginning of my treatment, but later on they didn't give me problems. You may need to come back to that rx at a later time.
