Has anyone experienced a big relapse of symptoms after getting hit with an infection like the flu or a stomach bug?
Aside from being very upset and disappointed, what did you do? Did you go back on treatment? What helped the most? Thanks.

Treating parasites was the biggest life saver for me when I relapsed. Check out the Parasite Warrior Support Thread.

i think it is common to backslide when anything affects your immune system. a new illness, lack of sleep, bad food...surgery, car accident, death or divorce...

I had about 3 1/2 weeks of bad symptoms and decided to take oral doxycycline again. I kept working but was miserable. I don't know if the doxy worked, but I got better. I also slept as much as I could and was on all kinds of supplements.

Good advice above. I have the stomach flu and am taking a turn for the worse. I just have to be patient.
Did you still take the abx when you had the stomach flu?

Just treat it fast! It is MUCH easier if caught earlier. The more you wait, at least, for me, the more I fell into the hole again....
