My major Lyme symptom is severe dizziness 24/7 to the point of being bedridden, as well as several other neurological symptoms. however, I also have unrelenting fatigue and flu-like symptoms. it is present 24/7; however, it is worst when I wake up in the morning. I dread going to sleep as the fatigue/flu like is so intense in the AM. anyone else experience that in the morning? any idea why it might be worse upon awakening? My dr. suspects I have babesia as well. thanks!

Sounds like a combo of babs (neuro), yeast (dizzy), and lyme (flu like symptoms). Are you detoxing enough? Taking lemon water (helps with die off). Are you taking enough probiotics (in the hundred billions)? Try taking some probiotics before bed, or in the middle of the night if you get up to use the bathroom. Try taking more throughout the day too.

L-Lysine, B-Complex Vitamins, Co-Q10, L-Carnitine all support energy production. I've also heard good results from some who have used D-Ribose.

I also posted this on the "ATP" thread...

There are many supplements to try (yes, most are expen$ive):

CoQ10 (Ubiquinol)
D-Ribose
NADH
A-B12
Methyl B12
Vit. B2
Acetyl-L-Carnitine

I'm also trying Mitosynergy now, think it helps a bit.

Dr. Sarah Myhill in the UK has a lot info on her site (sorry I don't have the link; google it)...

It can also be protomyxzoa. One way to tell the difference is if you develop insomnia or nerve pain. Otherwise the symptoms are very similar - body pain, crushing fatigue, air hunger, headaches, brain fog, sweats, hot flashes. . . . .
