I want to start the salt/ c protocol. I just have few questioms about it.
did it improve your health, if so how? What does it treat? Can it cure babiesa or lyme disease? Can you do it without taking vitamin C? Can it be any brand of vitamin C? Is it safe to do?
Thanks

I started the Salt C protocol last week. I used lyme strategies forum for some help and purchased the E book.
I did run into some problems but not sure if it is related to the Salt C or something else. I had a really bad flare of rosacea. Skin was chafed, inflamed, incredibly bad. I am taking a bit of a break to see if I can figure out what caused this.
I had also introduced a few new supplements over the past month - and also started using a homemade shower cleaner that could even be the culprit.
I may have ramped up too quickly. Started at 1 g of salt and 1 g of Vit C on day 1. No reaction, so increased by 1 g second day. Kept this up but stayed at same dosage a few days before increasing. I got up to 5 g and by then, skin on my face was literally peeling off.
I haven't read about too many having this side effect of Salt C. I felt so encouraged while on. I hope that I can resume... I would say go for it - but go very slowly. Good luck!
Also, make sure you get on Parasite Warriors thread. They will offer lots of support.

I have been on the salt/C protocol for about 1 month. I think that I am seeing signs of improvement.
Luvema- I bought the book from Amazon and I highly recommend it. If you do it without the vitamin C you are not doing the protocol but something different.
So far for me it seems completely safe, but it is very important to ramp up very slowly. The book explains this. The book also explains the differences in different kinds of salt, including the problems with traditional white table salt. That part alone was very interesting to me and I think will improve our health

if you are thinking of trying it go for it I had one of the worst herx i have ever had, it's a tough protocol but man i just came out of that herx after i backed off a bit and i am very happy with the results
it's been better than the 9 months of IV abx i just came off in Oct i will stay on this treatment of 1000mg turmeric and 1 tsp of salt over the course of the day
also a very important must is to off set the excessive salt in take i need and must drink half my body weight in oz of water i weigh 200 lbs it's not easy fitting in 100oz of water a day but i do it and after a tough start i am finally seeing great result like my 10 month dizzy crap is now getting better thank you Lord.

Scott,
Vitamin C works well for boosting the immune system and aids in dieoff of the pathogens as well as being an antihistamine.
Just wondering why you didn't just add tumeric as an adjunct to the salt instead of eliminating the C?

Interesting... I read that you have to take black pepper (piperine) in order to utilize the tumeric. So, maybe it should be the salt & pepper protocol? -
The thing that's good about the vit. C is that it keep the bowels moving, too.
