My Lyme brain will not recall what products/protocol I can do to help me boost my immune system.

Please have patience and post what things have worked for you.

I hate the part of this disease that blocks my recall.

Doc wants me to boost my immune system, but has not hit on the right stuff I can take yet.

I have chronically low cd4 counts as well. Also low cd 8, cd56, cd 57. it's low across the board. I have a high c4a count. I take LDN which theoretically is supposed to boost the immune system. It helped my cd4 and cd 56 counts climb to the normal range, but I start sliding back and my NK numbers reflected that as they fell too. So the LDN stopped working.

I have heard transfer factor??? That is next on my list. Vitamin D3 as well is supposed to boost and act as an antiinflammatory. High dose IV vit c works too.

We are trying raw camel's milk with my family to jump start the immune system. We just started a week ago so I don't know if it's helping yet but I have read many good things about it.

I always get clobbered with any "boost" -- I know it's all in the definition but "balance" is best.

"Boosting" can over-stimulate us out so be sure a LL doctor guides you on how to do all this.

EpiCor is a dietary supplement derived from dry fermentation of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

To date, the manufacturer has published research on the effect of EpiCor on mucosal immune protection; human leukocytes in vitro and anti-inflammatory activity; and symptom severity and duration of seasonal cold, influenza, and flu-like symptoms.

EpiCor and Immune Balance
Unlike many other immune health supplements on the market, EpiCor does not stimulate or "boost" the body's immune system.

How EpiCor Works
Supporting the body at the first level of immune defense, the innate immune system or mucosal barrier, EpiCor activates Natural Killer (NK) cells to help ward off foreign invaders.

For invaders that work their way past this first line of defense, research shows that EpiCor also works further down the line when the adaptive immune system kicks in by activating B cells, which support antibody production specific to the invading pathogen.

EpiCor is also a powerful antioxidant that further supports a healthy body by scavenging dangerous free radicals.
Additionally, EpiCor possesses significant anti-inflammatory activity.

Hello Nana, important to have your blood checked in order to avoid any deficiency in the major minerals etc.
Often the problem lies with lack of selenium , zinc, or often simply vitamin c.

Might be worthwhile?

You are so right, its more than worthwhile, its a necessity:
In order to know what (s)he is doing a dr. should always order a number of blood tests (or hairanalysis) to rule out any deficiencies on minerals, vitamins and trace minerals, otherwise it is just like aiming in the dark.
