My mother had a pretty sever anxiety attack last week. I can't help but want to have her investigate Lyme. She's had he following waxing and waning diagnoses for years:

- Irritable Bowel
- GERD
- tendonitis of the wrist
- tingling/numbness in the feet
- hypo & hyperthyroid
- difficulty sleeping (takes sleeping pills)
- easily irritable
- bunion (?, she wears high heels relentlessly)
- on the verge of sleep apnea
- claustrophobia
- high cholesterol

She is just beginning to shift her diet away from processed crap and soda. But it is slow going.

I'm curious if I should encourage her to see a LLMD in her area to get the appropriate testing done.

I generally think everyone has Lyme. I think I might have lost perspective.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Check the symptom list at Humaworm for parasites. Sounds like she might have an infection. Antiparasitics are helping a lot of people with Lyme.

Note: One mos of antiparasitics is never enough and tx should be ongoing until symptom free.

Does she have pain on the soles of her feet? A lot of those symptoms sound like bartonella to me, more so than Lyme but there is so much overlap.

I'll check on the soles of her feet. I'm not sure.

Gael (if you come back to this post) - Unrelated question regarding parasites. Buhner's protocol has quite a few herbs that are antiparasitic. Do you consider this sufficient treatment for parasites? Trying to find an integrated protocol that I can stick to for myself.

Thanks!

I have to say, the severe panic attacks were my first symptom of lyme years 6 years ago. I didn't have too many other symptoms than that in the beginning. Then the other symptoms slowly made their appearance. I was given xanax and anti-depressents (which I did not need).

After many, many doctors (that had no business practicing medicine) and many years, I was diagnosed last summer, finally.

I would have her have the Igenex testing done for the Lyme and Cos. It truly can't hurt anything and then you know for sure.

Best of luck!

Hi YinYang,

The three most important herbs for getting rid of parasites are Wormwood Black Walnut Hull and Cloves.

Not familiar enough with Buhner herbs, but if they don't contain these three in particular and you want to do Buhner herbs, just ad a cleanse that contains these herbs.

Also look into the salt/c protocol which is highly effective against parasites as well as bb and babs. The combo of salt/c and antiparasitics is very effective, but has to be persistent and ongoing.

When you "see" critters emerge you will understand that getting rid of parasites is KEY to getting well.

My first Symptom was Also off the wall Anxiety. The rest came later.. Took me 2 years to get a diagnosis.

Best part was Psych docs told me it was Physiological, so despite the discomfort I knew I wasn't crazy. In the end, with all of the Lyme treatment, I do sometimes feel crazy :-( , but mostly when I Herx.

I often wonder where I would be if I had never taken all of these treatments. I'm no better than when I started. And I've done EVERYTHING from Salt/c to Herbs to Rife.. blah blah blah.. My big focus is Babesia right now. I hope I'm on it.

Lymetwister, I'm sorry to hear you are still having troubles.

Unfortunately, my mother isn't willing to test for Lyme. She is also following doctors orders and taking anti-anxiety pharmaceuticals.

I'm worried and will continue to advise her, but you can't convince someone that doesn't want to be convinced.

lymetwister,

When you did salt/c and herbs you had visible parasites emerge and you posted pics here of worms and other critters. Problem is you went off the antiparasitics and salt/c which stopped the killing of the parasites.

The salt/c and antiparasitic herbs also got rid of my babs for me, but it takes persistence and staying with the protocols. These parasite can lay 200,000 eggs a day.

If left unchecked they will just keep disseminating and multiplying. Anxiety is on the list of symptoms for parasites and will go away when you get rid of them.

Getting rid of G.I. parasites is KEY in getting rid of babs, bb, bart and other co-infections according to Dr. K.

Posted this so others going after parasites using salt/c and herbs wouldn't get discouraged. So hope you get back on track with this. Only want to see you get well.
