Hi Everyone,

I am wondering if anyone has experience taking Rifampin oral at the same time as Lumbrokinase?

I have read that rifampin should not be taken at the same time as other anti-coagulants (coumadin, plavix, etc.).

I also know that Lumbrokinase is in that category, although a natural version.

If anyone has guidelines, ie what their LLMD or pharmacist has told them, it will be greatly appreciated.

I take any proteolytic enzymes like lumbrokinase away from abx. Two hours.

I have been taking both together for months, although usually not exactly at the same time.

My understanding is that it's important to take Lumbrokinase (and Boluoke) on an empty stomach, away from everything else - at least a half hour on either end.

Other than that, I haven't heard of any problems taking it with Rifampin. My LLND had me on both, at different times of the day. I doubt that the anti-coagulant properties of Lumbrokinase are sufficient enough to be a problem, but, of course, I'm not a doctor.
