I watched the 3 part video on this site yesterday.
He talks about why CFS/Fibro affect so many body systems (sounds like Lyme).
The interesting thing for me was when he stated that the reason that so many different body systems are affected at one time is because the Autonomic Nervous System is affected...and the ANS controls most systems in the body.
Also, he states that people get well doing very different treatments (ex. working on infections, heavy metals, methylation and on and on) because the end result is that they are lowering the body burden.
Just like we can't kill every lyme bacteria, but our hope is to kill enough of the bugs so that the immune system can take over.
That explains how we see one person having a breakthrough in Lyme treatment by doing IV, another by going after parasites, another by working on methylation, another by doing rife, etc, etc.

And so much diversity too amongst us - which illnesses we have, which genospecies and strains, which weaknesses we have, our ability to detox, what environmental exposures we may have had or have, our diets - not one of us is the same!

Exactly Robin!
When I watched the video from the link, I just replaced "CFS/Fibro" with Lyme and made it relevant for me.

Guess what, I won't say this for everyone on here, but I skimmed through this ebook and I'm beginning to think this guy is dead on.
Perhaps all the Herxing is just more Toxic burden put on the body causing more inflammation / toxins.
I have brought this up before, but really never ran with it. My Autonomic Nervous System is so screwed up. I do so much better when I don't put the meds in me, but then I take the meds b/c I'm sick and want to be well. I see many on here doing this. Then we all Herx and say we don't feel better but perhaps back to our bad baselines.
What do we do next, we put the meds, herbs, etc. in us and we keep cycling through these Herx's.
I think this guy is onto something. He makes alot of good points. I read the entire ebook in about 2 hours (speed reader), I can so relate to what this guy is saying.
I havn't seen the videos, but I don't think I need to.
