I am currently treating parasites along with a vigorous Lyme/Bart/Babs protocol. I have had strong cravings for foods I am very allergic to.
The cravings aren't sugar or bread, but it's food that contains my top allergens. So, I cave to my cravings regardless of the itching and stomach issues.
Why is this disease so strange?!

I know, it's weird. When I was younger before the Lyme I didn't have any food allergies. A few years into Lyme, I started having what looked like allergic reactions to strawberry ice cream. It took my mom a while to figure out why my lips were blistering and peeling... it was pretty nasty. I haven't attempted to eat strawberry ice cream since.

People with food allergies and no Lyme also can have this problem. And food cravings are one of the symptoms of a food allergy to the food that one craves.
I still crave wheat, though I am terribly sensitive to even airborne wheat/gluten & have been on a gluten-free diet for over 7 1/2 years, and it takes upwords of 6 months for me to recover from one airborne exposure to gluten.
